The fashion of Disney.

[Sorry about the size of the pictures everyone. photobucket just won't cooperate and save my versions of these pictures that are resized and cropped. hopefully i will be able to fix it but until then bare with me!]

Day 1. So this was the traveling day. Now I’m the type that would rather wear a dress than anything. I hate shorts most of the time. I like being able to sit in whatever position I want and not give a damn. So I wore down this dress that I got a year ago from Urban Outfitters. Its one of the my favorites in my closet. Its stretchy and comfortable and it fits me perfectly. It also twirls, what more could a girl want? Now of course I always wear spandex underneath my dresses, just so I don’t flash the world.

Day 2. Now this is the day we went to Animal Kingdom. Now as part of tradition and because I’m weird, I like to coordinate my outfits with the parks I am visiting. I compare theme, color, pattern, etc. I know its strange but it makes things much more fun. I wore this day a wonderful outfit from Target. Gotta love Target right? It was super comfortable and I even coordinated my sunglasses to go with the outfit! One cast member walked by me and was like “Hey, I’m guessing you like purple?” and I was like...yupp!

Now that evening, I continued the purple trend and I wore a new Billabong dress. Its an adorable fit but the downside is the fabric is a bit thick. I was going to wear some adorable shoes that I got at Anthropologie but then I just switched to flip flops since it had been a long day of walking.

Day 3. Magic Kingdom! Now today my friend Meredith and I kind of coordinated our outfits. We are both determined to work for the Walt Disney Company someday and we wanted to theme our outfits with our favorite characters that we would love to portray. If you can’t tell that would be Wendy Darling or Alice from Alice in Wonderland! So this blue stripped dress from American Eagle was perfect and quite adorable.

That evening we went to one of my favorite restaurants in Disney, the California Grill. Its a bit fancier so we decided that this would be our day to dress up. I wore a dress that I got a few months ago from Free People that I have been dying to wear. Its a bit tight and loose around the bust but oh well, I still love it. Its fun to wear! The only true difficulty to the dress is zipping it up. Of course once its zipped its fine its just very stubborn sometimes.

Day 4. Another Free People dress! Honesty I could wear everything that company produces. They just have amazing things. Anyway, not much thought came into this outfit. I just adore this dress and it is another one of my all time favorites. Its lightweight and it fits perfectly. I even got some compliments on it during the day!

Day 5. And Free People makes an appearance again! This shirt was the result of my first online shopping spree. I was in a desperate summer mood and therefore I ordered this shirt on sale and had it shipped to my school. This was the first time I wore it because I was waiting for the perfect excuse. This was the day of Star Wars weekend in Walt Disney World so therefore I had to find something “Star Wars-y”. Although the beading is a bit heavy on the front of the shirt it is very flowy and comfortable. I had an issue figuring out what to wear underneath it but once I got used to wearing that little bralette I was in heaven. Also, if you look at my hair I did it in a funky braid just to add to the Star Wars-ness. Yes, I am a nerd.

This night we went to Italy for dinner. It was so hot during the day that we went to the pool and then changed for dinner. I wore a nice lightweight strapless dress from Charlotte Russe. I paired it with a Free People sweater that I had gotten a few months ago simply because it was cold in the restaurant. This was the perfect dress to wear after being so hot the entire day.

Day 6. Ok so this wasn’t a spectacular day for style.I was planning to wear a cute romper that I had gotten from Charlotte Russe but the boning in the bodice was causing me some trouble and I didn’t want to deal with being uncomfortable in the heat. Therefore I just threw on this black dress from H&M that I’ve had for years but still love. It fits like the dress from Day 1 and twirls wonderfully.

Day 7. At this point I was running out of outfits. I had some spares but we were going to the Magic Kingdom and to fit along with the princesses I always feel its necessary to wear a dress. I got this one at Target and after seeing it in pictures from the trip, I love it. It fits very well. It was shown in the store with the bow in front but I switched it to the back for it to be more flattering. I also got a compliment when I met Ariel that day because her favorite color is purple =]

Day 8. Another traveling day. But we did go to a character breakfast so there are some pictures. I got this dress from Urban Outfitters a year ago. It fits loosely and its rather comfortable, plus it looks cute in the pictures.
